Slow-crafted by hand, in harmony with nature. I work with colour from plants to create artworks that invite a deeper connection with the organic world.
Hello & Welcome!
I’m Maria, a natural dye artist based in Henley-on-Thames.
Using leaves, flowers, bark, and roots, I create artworks which capture the forms and hidden colours of plants. I experiment with foraged and traditional dye plants, reflecting seasonal rhythms, allowing colours to emerge and interact.
I am constantly seeking new ways to explore the power and potential of plant colour.
Each piece is unique, shaped by a deep-rooted love of nature and a direct connection with the land.
